Zak to star in new series The Assistants

Zak has signed as a series lead in the hilarious new comedy The Assistants. The half hour episodic series is written and created by Will McRobb and Chris Visconti and produced by the Tom Lynch Company for the N Network. The first episode is directed by buzz director Jamie Babbit. The series revolves around the lives of four young Hollywood assistants (played by Britt Irvin, Meaghan Rath, Brendan Penny and Michael B. Jordan) as they compete for the approval of their eccentric boss, the power-producer Zach (Zak Santiago). With it's strong cast and writing, behind- the- scenes style and spoof of the movie biz, The Assistants promises to be one of next seasons top shows. Production for season 1 runs from early August to December 2007.
Zak to film The Eye

Zak has signed to play Emilio in the feature film The Eye, starring Jessica Alba. The Eye, produced by Cruise/Wagner Productions, is a remake of the lauded Hong Kong film Gin Gwai and is being filmed in New Mexico and British Colombia.
Robson Arms Season III

The hit Canadian comedy Robson Arms is back for a third season. Filming begins in June for the 13 episodes. Zak reprises his role as Hal Garcia and stars alongside John Cassini, Alisen Down, Fred Ewanuik, and Gabrielle Miller among others in this popular comedy. Robson Arms airs on CTV and the Comedy Network.
Zak to film Chasing the Devil

Zak will return to Winnipeg this Aug/Sept to work on the miniseries Chasing the Devil. The four-part series is written by Tony and Pulitzer-nominated writer John Pielmeier (Agnes of God). The series stars Thomas Cavanagh and is directed by Norma Bailey and produced by Once Upon a Time Films for the Lifetime Network. Zak plays Seth Imperia, an FBI profiler on the search for the Green River Killer.
